Jordana Chin

Founder of Nutri2Go & Head Chef

Associate Nutritionist (Association for Nutrition license number 7887)

Hello! I'm Jordana. I'm originally from Malaysia, a small city in North Borneo to be exact, and came to Nottingham 5 years ago to pursue my studies at the University of Nottingham. I graduated with both bachelors and masters degree in nutrition and currently a registered associate nutritionist at the Association for Nutrition (license no. 7887).

While I was studying at uni, I realised the lack of healthy food options in Nottingham. During my final year of studies, I founded Nutri2Go with the help of the university's Ingenuity Lab. Nutri2Go is the first healthy food service in Nottingham, providing hot and cold freshly prepared healthy meals delivered straight to customers. All our meals are carefully planned as we want to provide food that is substantial and balanced with the right amount of macro and micronutrients.

Besides providing nutritious food, we have a huge ethos on the environment by providing meals that doesn't cost the earth - we use locally sourced ingredients where possible and all meals are packaged in 100% compostable packagings and delivered in bicycles (or tricycle!).

Our new cafe is based right next to Savoy Cinema and was opened at the end of December 2019. I’ve rebranded our cafe to be called Avocafe by Nutri2Go as we are not only offering ‘2-go’ services but we also aim to be a friendly neighbourhood eatery, offering relaxed, all day dining menu inspired by places and people that I’ve met. With my nutritional background, I aim to provide a well-balanced feel good food, prepared fresh daily.

Since opening, we received great feedback and I enjoyed meeting everyone from the community, whether they are students, local residents or even cinema-goers!

We have hosted gatherings and meetings, and every week, we welcome a learning disability group from the Lenton Centre in for a chat, tea and cakes as part of their activities.

I’m looking forward to the bee-friendly plants planting at the garden around our cafe at the end of March with the community.

We welcome everyone in our new home - doesn’t matter who they are, where are they from. We make what we love and hope you’ll enjoy too.

What others said about us:

Speciality Food Magazine

"In the past, when you had food delivered it was all too often an indulgence; consider your conventional takeaway menu 10 years ago – you’d be hard-pressed to find anything truly healthy and nutritious. Not so any more, thanks to Jordana Chin’s modern thinking and understanding of the demands of today’s consumer. Convenient and healthy, Nutri2go offers nutritionally-balanced and ready-to-eat meals delivered on bicycles; we look forward to the service being offered closer to the Speciality Food offices!

Adam Sopher, Director of Joe & Seph Popcorn:

“Love the excellent texture of the crackers in particular. Jordana’s business is more than just the crackers and the Soba noodles with salmon and cucumber salad we spotted on her website look fantastic (Joe & Seph’s whole office team will be your customers when you open in London!). I was really impressed by Jordana’s story of how she set up the business as a student and has achieved so much already. She’s definitely one to watch in the industry.”
